A signet was a symbol used to identify clans of Mandalorians. One signet was given to Din Djarin after the formation of his clan.

These are made from coldcast aluminium and range between 4-6 Inches. As they’re coldcast aluminium, they can be moulded to your armour by gently heating the signet until it becomes slightly flexible.

Signets were determined from the damage dealt to a Mandalorian warrior's armor. In one instance, Din Djarin's signet was determined to be the mudhorn, as he suffered extensive damage to his armour while doing battle with one on Arvala-7. Once determined, the signet would then be forged, made of beskar, and placed on the warrior's armour.
Around 9 ABY, the Armourer was visited by Din Djarin within the Tribe's covert after he obtained an ingot of Beskar. She asked him if his signet had been revealed, to which Djarin stated that it had not been identified yet, but the Armourer assured him it would be revealed soon.
Djarin returned to the Armourer after he had completed a bounty, where he revealed that his armour had been damaged in a battle with a mudhorn. The Armourer proposed to forge the signet of a mudhorn for him, but Djarin refused, stating that he could not accept it as he was assisted by an enemy.
